Who We Are...
The Boys & Girls Club of the Golden Triangle, Columbus-Starkville is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that has a vision to be the most effective Boys & Girls Clubs possible by engaging staff, families, Board of Directors and the community, while focusing on appropriate and responsive programs and services that meet the needs of all youth involved in the Club. With a mission to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, responsible, caring citizens. We are dedicated to our core beliefs in providing a safe place to learn and grow, building ongoing relationships with caring, adult professionals, delivering life-enhancing programs and character development experiences, along with creating hope and opportunity.
Why do we need Boys & Girls Clubs?
In communities nationwide, children are at risk of dropping out of school and are being tempted by negative influences such as alcohol and drugs. Boys & Girls Clubs are in some 4,300 communities across the country to provide every child the opportunity to be at their best. Kids need a place where they belong, receive support for their education, get advice about making decisions and discover new talents and interests. For millions of kids in America, this place is the Boys & Girls Club.
